Our engineering capabilities include a team of engineers with specialties in the areas of seat certification, mechanical design, structural analysis, mechanical & electrical systems, and software.
Our data has been approved and/or validated in the USA (FAA), Canada (TCCA), and Europe (EASA). Seat modifications are carried out in accordance with FAA Advisory Circular AC 21-25B.
Dynamic Seat Testing
When alterations are made to 16G dynamic seats, dynamic sled testing may be required to show that the seat’s integrity is not effected. With a dynamic sled facility just down the road, travel expenses and costly delays are gone.
Oil Burner for Seat Cushions
16G dynamic seat certifications also require flammability. ACES has three in-house designed and built oil burner labs that allow for simultaneous testing and no down time.
